We just heard from the mechanic in Knoxville. Moose is in great, sound shape! The engine has 69,000 miles on it but was completely re-built at 60,000 miles.

We ran out of gas last Saturday
They fixed battery cable and everything else.
Everything checked out good.
The sending unit for gas gauge doesn’t work so they are going to replace.
Painting is about $3, 000 and would take a couple of weeks because of size. Bummer! I really wanted Moose painted before our 1st trip in 2 weeks!! Instead, we decided to paint Moose ourselves with a highly recommended product from Tractor Supply.
We will head back up to Knoxville this weekend to pick it up and get ready for St. Patty’s Day camping.
