Today we traded in our 2000 Ford Expedition (GWR about 6000) for a New Ford F150 XLT 4×4 (GWR about 7200).
We really had no choice. The Expedition was only getting to the point of needing costly repairs. We really needed something with more torque and specific for towing.
I will admit that I’m a big softy and hated driving away from the Expedition. So many great memories. Trips to the beach with the pups. Picking up TarTar for the 1st time. Loading up eight people and their luggage to Mobile to take a cruise. A super fun road trip with Thor looking out the back window. And so on.
I felt like I was abandoning an old friend.
